"Sakhalin Machinery" LLC has implemented and is maintaining a Quality and Environmental Management System (Q&EMS) based on ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004 international standards, establishing the requirements for Quality Management Systems and for Environmental Management Systems accordingly.

Q&EMS is an integrated management system for "Quality" and "Environment", which is part of an overall organization's management system and is aimed at:

• Satisfying needs, expectation and requirements of our Customers and other interested parties
• Controlling the environmental aspects and subsequent impacts of our operations, products and services on the Environment

The Quality and Environmental Management System requirements are applicable to the following Sakhalin Machinery operations, products and services:

• Activities including and associated with sales and rental of new and used Caterpillar heavy equipment
• Activities including and associated with sales and rental of Caterpillar power systems (generator sets, other Caterpillar products supplied by Power Systems Department)
• Activities associated with Caterpillar power systems start-up and commissioning
• Activities associated with Caterpillar parts sales
• Activities associated with service for Caterpillar products 

Within the Q&EMS Sakhalin Machinery undertakes to provide products and services as well as conduct operations in accordance with customer requirements, Caterpillar requirements, standards and regulations, statutory and regulatory requirements, including those relating to the environmental control.

A reliable proof of the Q&EMS conformity with the requirements is certification of “Sakhalin Machinery” LLC to ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004, done by an independent reputable certification body.

In parallel with the Q&EMS Occupational Health and Safety Management System exists at Sakhalin Machinery. Full attention is given to ensuring employee safety, creating appropriate work conditions in accordance with applicable requirements, avoidance of emergency situations and injuries as well as emergency response preparedness, ensuring employee competence and provision of strong employee motivation in the Occupational Health and Safety area.
